Dale Stockstill & Associates, is a Professional Land Surveying Company, conveniently located near Interstate 59 outside of Picayune, Mississippi. Its founder, Dale Stockstill, originally a surveyor for Texaco, Inc, brought his thirty plus years of experience in the pipeline and oil industry to the company. DS&A worked in oilfields all over South Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi for Shell, Texaco, Chevron, United Gas Pipeline Company, Koch, Boardwalk Pipeline and others. Billy Alan Chavers, RLS purchased the corporation in July of 1998, after working for the company for over ten years. The firm had an outstanding reputation for excellence and service in the oil and gas, pipeline, and electric transmission industries and provided quality lot, boundary, construction, and topographic surveys across the South Mississippi area. After taking control, Mr.Chavers expanded the client base and range of services that DS&A provided adding numerous large and medium Engineering firms to their list of clients. They have provided surveying services for new and existing Highway projects, topographic surveys for rail expansions, airport towers, runway extensions, pipeline and electric transmission relocation in and out of existing Highway Right of Ways, etc. Dale Stockstill & Associates provide a full range of Survey Services for its clients: Precise GPS Control, Topographic Surveys, As-Built Surveys, Monument Locations, Deed Research, Boundary Determinations, Permanent Right of Way and Temporary Workspace Plats, Centerline Staking, Mapping, Alignment Plan and Profile Sheets, Fee Tract Plats, Laser Scanning, Point Cloud Registration and analysis, 3D Modeling, etc. DS&A has successfully served a wide variety of clients: the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District, South Mississippi Electric Power Association, Entergy, Mississippi Power, US Forest Service U.S. Department of Agriculture, many large Architectural and Engineering Firms, various Municipalities, and countless private clients. The addition of our Topcon GLS1500 High Definition Laser Scanner and the various Point Cloud Software programs owned by the firm keep DS&A at the cutting edge of the Surveying profession providing clients with a technical competence usually only found in much larger firms.
