On August 16, 2021 we were camping at Little Ocmulgee State Park for 1 night just passing through the area. Our chihuahua, Toby, had been bitten by a spider the previous day and his right front paw was swollen and he was unable to walk on it. We drove to Countryside Veteranary Clinic arriving before they were open. As Vet tech Dawn walked from her car to open the clinic we asked her if someone could see Toby. Dawn was so kind and caring. She took Toby into the clinic and told us Dr. Thompson would see him that morning. We drove back to the State Park and prepared to check out. We returned to the clinic later in morning and Dr. Thompson told us she had lanced and cleaned Toby’s foot. She also prescribed an antibiotic. Dr. Thompson and her staff are wonderful, and lifesavers for our Toby. Thank you Countryside Veteranary Clinic! Toby gives you 2 paws up!🐶

Dr Thompson is a great doctor. I have worked for her and brought my animals to her. I have seen this woman stay at the office from sun up to sun down making sure that every dog, cat, horse, and so on and so on are taking care of. I have seen her give up vacation trips to treat a sick animal in need. I have seen her skip lunch so she doesn't keep anyone waiting. I recommend countryside vet clinic to anyone. She is not expensive. If you compare prices to other local vets offices she has the best prices. So if you are looking for someone to care for your animal that puts aside there life to make sure your animal is taking care of the dr Thompson at countryside vet clinic in McRae, ga is the place for you

I highly recommend Dr. Thompson. She has been very good to my lil girl Lucy.Yes there are times when she is needed over the holidays, but she has the right to live a normal life as well. She is a very busy vet and a VERY good vet.Dont let one bad review discourage you from using her.If I couldnt get in touch with her I would call around until I found one that was open,if possible or drive to Macon if neccessary.I would do whatever i could do to save my dogs no matter how far or how much.Thats my honest opinion.1.5 hours is defintely not to far to save my dogs life.

We came to Dr. Donna as an emergency patient during office hours. Even though the office was busy, we were seen quickly and the doctor took time to treat us with respect and answer all my questions. No stone was left unturned and my elderly dog is now doing very well. I will not hesitate to return to this clinic.

We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Donna. She has always helped us, even in an emergency. Donna is well established in our area and has always treated us with respect and found the time to help us with our pets at any time we needed her. I can certainly understand if she was out of town for the holidays. Our pets are always treated well and quickly when needed.

I cannot recommend this vet for she is NOT available after hours for emergeny visits. Over the thanksgiving holiday weekend my dog got very ill and in lots of pain and we called her 4 times and she did not respond. On Monday when her office did open, she still did not call us and offer her help. We are established in her practice and she has helped some of our other pets sucessfully. But be aware that this only happens during office hours, otherwise she does not return your calls and they suggest you got to the Macon animal clinic, over 1.5 hour away for most of us living in the Mcrae area. And it is very very expensive to go there. We found another vet on Monday morning in the area that helped our loved dog who has been diagnosed with lymphoma. If she had even called us to tell us she was out of town I could have respected that, but she did not even bother to do that. She left us in pain and heart broken. Shame on her...
