We ordered Carry out. Took 30min not bad for sushi. Rockin roll is excellent lots of fish on it. Teriyaki steak dinner is more like stir fried thin steak sliced up with onions and sauce. "Fried Rice" is barely fried with a very light brown color, tasted good but not the expected fried rice. Miso soup was excellent, light color. The Gyoza was also good. We may jus be doing take out like this all the time. Call ahead wait 30min then go pick up your food and eat at home! Menu photos to follow!

Unlike Michael B. and Mere R. I have a background in the food business and knowledge of Asian cuisine. Opening a new restaurant in a small town is NOT easy. Especially if it is something completely different. It is obvious that they are understaffed but I imagine it would be VERY difficult to find local employees that have the needed knowledge to serve Japanese cuisine. And nearly impossible to find any more kitchen staff. We have been to this restaurant several times and yes .....it is always busy but when there is great food ....what do you expect ??? The wait staff have never appeared 'miserable' to me. I imagine they are exhausted since they work VERY, VERY, hard !!! But they still manage to be polite, courteous, and with a smile !

Good sushi (and I ate the real stuff), was served at a proper temperature (if you know sushi you know what I mean), and didn't wait long even though they were busy. Staff kept me updated on my order and very kind. In and out during my lunch hour with time to spare.

I wish I could judge this place on the merit of their food, unfortunately I didn't get to eat. I walked in to a restaurant where there was a crowded waiting area right inside the door and a lot empty tables and staff busy doing absolutely nothing. Every single employee looked miserable and the guests did too. I'll consider being ignored by staff a blessing.

Food was delicious! We went at a slower time 2:30 to ensure speedy service. I know they just opened and knew if we went at their peak hours they would take longer. My husband and I enjoyed spending our anniversary there!

We understand it's new and still working out the kinks but the service was glacial, over an hour to be served our order, and the sushi was sub par.
