Provided by YP.comI am of Hispanic descent and proud of my heritage and moved down here from a big metro city, so I do not have the usual Mexican accent. Kolaches are my favorite choice of breakfast treats for starters, but I was castigated twice by an anglo eldery female cashier and her young 25+ anglo manager one morning. The elderly lady raised her voice at me to hurry me along with a face of a she devil. I in turn called the young manager as soon as I got to my work and informed him of the incident. He seemed sincere and apologetic when I called and said to come by to receive a meal on the house when I had a chance. I did come by the next day to receive my compensated meal only to be humilated my this young anglo manager who sarcastically blurrted out with other patrons in ear shot in the restaurant with an intentional broken Spanish accent, in a mocked fashion and I quote, "Grass E Ahss Sin Yore, Ahh Dee Osse Ameego!" He knew who I was and also knew that that English was my first language, and had a smile/smurk on his face and was actually tending to a table and went out of his way to shout at me. Have not gone back since and have told all friends and cowokers to stay away and to avoid this place like the plague.
