“Miracle Worker in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine”

It has been an honor and privilege to have worked as a RN with Dr. Viswamitra for over a decade in several medical facilities in the RGV. In June 2014, I had a Total Left Hip Replacement performed by Dr. R. Bassett in Harlingen, TX and received two weeks of physical rehabilitation, at Doctors Hospital Renaissance Rehab Center, under the care of Dr. Viswamitra. I am amazed and astonished by Dr. Viswamitra’s organizational skills to coordinate over sixty licensed personnel on a daily basis to empower their patients to achieve their optimum physical abilities.

I am truly elated by the services I received at Doctors Hospital Renaissance Rehab Center. Being a single female with no immediate family members to render care for me at home, Dr. Viswamitra and her team did not release me until I was able to perform Activities of Daily Living by myself before I was discharged. Within two weeks I was discharged from DHR Rehab Center and by four weeks post -surgery I returned to work full-time!

Again, I reiterate, Dr. Viswamitra and her team at Doctors Hospital Renaissance Rehab Center are truly “Miracle Workers in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine”
