Moved to North Mcallen in 1994 and took our cats to Dr. Thielen. Really happy with Dr Thielen. Moved to South Mission in 2002, so changed vets because of distance. Went to vet in Mission for a few years, but wasn't happy with them! Felt like they were just trying to get us to spend spend spend! Made the decision to drive the extra 10 miles to Ware Road Animal Hospital, to take our doggies and cats! Best thing we could had done for them!

Dennis Thielen has been taking care of family pets since he first opened, and he has been providing affordable, competent veterinary care to Valley animals and owners. He is honest and compassionate. It's very evident he loves what he does, and it's about helping animals. Knowing that prohibitive costs keep people from seeking veterinary care, he's managed to keep his costs as reasonable as possible. If only there were a way to clone this amazing doctor!!!

Dr. Thielen is definitely a keeper. I am amazed with his service. To begin with, the assistant is very courteous and lovely. As soon as you walk in, you can tell they are animal lovers and they care for our babies. It was my first time experience and I left very happy and comfortable with the service. Dr. Thielen was very detailed and patient in explaining the pros and cons. To top if off, I then receive a call from Dr. Thielen on a Saturday. Yes, a Saturday, asking how my baby was doing. I was truly shocked cause I thought that only some regular physicians would do this. Moving forward, Ware Road Hospital is a keeper. Will definitely highly recommend.
