Cottage Housing provides permanent supportiveÊhousing for the homeless. The center also offers security to individuals and families and a number of developmental programs for homeless people. Some of its housing communities are Quinn Cottages and Serna Village. Cottage Housing has the strong support of the alumni, program participants, property managers, construction managers, and Mercy Housing California. Volunteers can take up a number of roles like after school tutoring, recreation activities leader, youth mentoring, self-help group leader, adult mentoring, and coordinator of games, gardening, and crafts. Cottage Housing is located at McClellan, California, and caters to North Highlands.
