About an hour ago my daughter and I visited this store like we have done many times before. Only this time, after shopping around for about 20 minutes, we went to the register, my daughter placed her items on the counter and waited and waited. After about 5 minutes of waiting I said to the group of about four people near the register,"We're ready." No one acknowledged us. Not one word or movement towards us was made. They continued to talk to each other and one person continued to eat her food. We decided to leave the items and the store.

The best place to donate your unused/new/used items!! The staff provides prompt and appreciative attention to each person who calls. They came to my home the day after I called, showed up on time, and provided a Donation Certificate/Receipt for tax purposes. Knowing that the items I donated will help and support those who have survived domestic violence, is a great experience. Thank you Haven House and Blessing Thrift Shop for the tremendous work you do and service you provide.
