I agree with the other customer review. This cleaner has shrunk the lining of my clothes on several different occassions. They tried to tell me it was defective material or poor quality lining. Hames Cleaners eventually destroyed a couple thousand dollars worth of my clothes. Shame on me for using them after they did this the first time. Can't recommend to anyone.

Hames Cleaners did a botched job on a skirt& a pair of pants that I had brought to them to have altered. The first time, I had a skirt cut & when I went to pick it up, the lining was almost half the length of the skirt. I informed the clerk that the work was unacceptable & to call the seamstress & tell her not to alter her pants. I called her back to remind her to call the seamstress & that is when she informed me that the pants were already altered. I went to the cleaners the next morning to talk to the owners & the woman told me that the seamstress still had the lining & that they would fix it. A day or two later, I went to pick up the pants & the skirt. The seamstress did not replace the lining. The woman told me that the reason why the lining was cut so short was because of the slit in the side. I then took a look at the pants to discover that the lining of the pants was cut too short as well. I then took the skirt & the pants & the woman did not charge her for the pants & stated that she did not want me to be upset. I went home & tried on the pants only to discover that the pants were never cut & that only the lining was cut. I went into the store on 7/23 to talk to the owner in regards to my dissatisfaction with the clothes & was trying to find a resolution to satisfy both parties. I explained to him in a very calm & professional manner that she was unhappy & pointed out the reasons why the man got upset & told me that he was done with me & that his wife tried to help me & that I cost him all this money & he said that the skirt was lined that way when I first brought in & walked off. He then called me a "lying ni**er"& I said, "Excuse me, did you just call me a ni**er?" His response was, "No, I called you a lying b*tch." My issue is no longer just about the botched up alterations, it is also about the fact that Hames Cleaners has many Black customers & the owner has now revealed his true feelings & thoughts about African-Americans.
