Unfortunately my experience at Island Beach Bodies was a disappointing experience. I started out there taking Pilates then signed up for personal training to train for a bodybuilding competition. The first thing that started happening that upset me was the Pilates classes kept getting canceled and eventually taken off the schedule. And I had paid for three months unlimited Pilates classes that I ended up losing. Next the time we agreed on prior to me committing to personal training sessions were all of a sudden going to cost me more. Each month I paid something different. Then came attitude from the owner snappy comments!! And trying to push me beyond my limits when they knew I wasn't capable. Needless to say I did get injured twice with my time there. Then when it came close to my competition training session were getting canceled and not made up or refunded then had the nerve to ask me to assist in paying for her ticket to my competition. Even at the competition there was zero support. After I walked away I started I thanked my new trainer on social media and island beach bodies took it personal even though I didn't mention their name. Next thing you know I am going back and forth with them on social media to the point where I felt I needed to voice my experience publicly. The response I received was the same ugliness I had been receiving the whole time. I am wanting to share MY experience because as a customer I am allowed the right to voice my journey and my opinions good or bad and not be attacked!! I quietly walk away at first but now I feel the need to share MY experience.
