For 10 years Brad's Heating has been servicing my boiler which was built in 1941 in my 3 flat building in Chicago. Brad's Heating is a proven sustained superior service provider; I wouldn't trust anyone else. My go to Guy; I highly recommend Brad's Heating for your heating and AC needs.

If you're looking for the cheapest HVAC Technician to come in and do a "quick fix" for your problems then Brad is NOT your guy. But let me tell you briefly who Brad IS: Brad is the guy who will try to diagnose your problem over the phone to save you time and money. He will check-in with you occasionally to make sure your system is running well. He will put you on his schedule as soon as he has availability, prioritizing you above others if you have an emergency. He will do the job RIGHT the first time! If for some odd reason it doesn't get fixed right the first time (though that hasn't happened yet with me) he'll take care of you. He's the kind of guy who will teach you (if you're teachable and desire to learn) so you diagnose simple things. He is very professional, will clean up after his projects, and does a great job with communication.Pricing: Brad is not the cheapest guy out there. But you get what you pay for in this instance. If you want things done right and you don't want to make a second service call then call Brad. You won't regret it. Feel free to contact me if you want an in-dept referral. Brad services our church's steam boiler (1925 Pacific) which is still going strong. He also services four of our roof top units, another steam boiler made in the late 70s for one of our 3-flats, a conventional forced-air system for our 3-flat office, and two hot water boilers for two more apartments. That's a LOT of HVAC stuff to service! But he takes care of us and we can rely on him to save us money on gas/heat and to fix our problems as needed. Give Brad a call and you won't regret it!A couple stories: Last year People's Gas shut off our gas because they detected a leak in our boiler pipes. I was so frustrated! I called a couple local companies because Brad was busy and couldn't arrive that evening. Both companies gave me RIDICULOUS quotes to fix the problem. I knew I was getting ripped off. I called Brad back and he promised to arrive first thing in the morning - and was able to fix the issue that day. It still wasn't cheap but it was LESS than the local quotes -and I'm glad I waited until morning for Brad to fix it since he was already familiar with our system.Brad has kept our buildings warm all winter. When a motor would break down he would have it repaired or replaced before the week was over.

I want to praise Brad for work he recently performed for us. At absolutely the worst time of year to have a heating problem, our heat went out one night. This happened on 01/28/14, when temperatures were literally -7 to -14 degrees without wind chill here in McHenry. Brad responded immediately, diagnosed the problem, ordered a new pump, and had it installed all in less than 24 hours! We have found that he has always been open and honest about whatever our situation may be, and this time he went above and beyond. Well done Brad, and thank you again!

We work with Brad's Heating on several commercial properties and have received personalized attention to our heating systems efficiency. In our steam heat buildings, Brad has successfully brought us up to date on remote energy management systems, so we can now control and supervise the heat remotely. The work was done on time and within budget. Our tenants are happier and our heating bills are lower. Brad has done a ton of work in a few of my businesses and he's taken a $2000 gas bill down to $500-$600. He's put several large walk in coolers for me as well. Whenever I need service he's there that day and he always remembers to maintain all the equipment.

I recently had the unfortunate pleasure of having my furnace quit working. Having had several positive experiences with Brad’s Heating & Cooling over the years I immediately called them to schedule an appointment. Brad was able to diagnose the potential problems over the phone in a few minutes to help save us both the time of multiple or extended visits. Brad helped us when we first moved to the McHenry area when he corrected problems with our boiler. Since then he has installed radiators for us and provided prompt service when we needed it, most recently last Friday night (02/22/13). We lost heat and called the company number to leave Brad a message. He showed up and corrected the problem within that same hour!

Brad has been working on my hvac systems for years. He is available, honest, forthright about information. He installed a heat controlling system on my 6 flat that dropped the gas use dramatically, and this last year, it even went down again! I had a issue with my furnace not wanting to run after the first cycle. I started looking around and found brad's. I gave them a call to come out and look at my furnace to see if they could tell me what was wrong and boy am i glad i made that call my furnace was shot and they were able to tell me what was wrong and even explained why it happens. I would recommend this company to anyone they quite possibly saved mine and my extire family's lifes.
