This USED to be a good company, and now it's just horrible. Five years ago, Nick took my grandfather clock away for the summer to perform a major overhaul; he assured me at that time that I was good for another twenty years provided I get the clock serviced annually. I did so, and I had another issue this summer. Again, my clock got removed, this time by Grant. I was quoted a price to repair, and that price did NOT include the service call; most reputable service providers apply that cost to the repair, but not these folks. It took seven phone calls to get my clock back, and I was cancelled on twice because Nick didn't feel like working on the day my appointment was scheduled. NO joke. When Grant brought the clock back, I still didn't have a diagnosis. When I asked him what was wrong with it for the $300 I paid to have it fixed, I was informed that I "wouldn't understand it anyway." To say that I'm disgusted is an understatement. The woman, Paula, who answers the phone is equal parts snotty and condescending, and I wouldn't advise ANYONE to use these folks. My next e-mail will be to Howard Miller letting them know that this is how one of the "preferred" providers operates. If you enjoy delays, shoddy workmanship, condescending employees, and a whole lot of hassle, this is the place to go. If not, go somewhere -- ANYWHERE -- else.

Provided by YP.comHello Everyone,
I had an excellent experience with this company. They repaired my Grandmother's Anniversary Clock. The clock is running to perfect time and we love it! The price that we paid was fair and the service was impeccable. We even got lessons on how to properly wind and take care of our clock.
Be Well

Provided by YP.comPlease stay away from this "service"!! My father contacted them to fix his antique clock. They said they would be in his area and would pick up the clock (no mention of a "service fee"). When I returned home I found a receipt for a $129 Service Fee and $100 deposit + a note saying the repair estimate was $200 plus parts. I was very alarmed as the clock is maybe worth $100. I immediately called them, no answer, left a message. The owner got back to me the next day, I told them we would pick up the clock and wanted a refund of the money my father paid. He was not nice, said I could do what I wanted but no refund.
