Auberle, located in McKeesport, Pa., specializes in caring for abused, neglected and troubled children throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. Founded more than 50 years ago, it serves children and their families through various residential and foster care, emergency shelter, in-home intervention, and education and community programs. The agency s family foster care program is contracted with Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Children, Youth and Families, and provides family foster care for children and youth of up to 21 years. Auberle also has contracts with Westmoreland and Washington counties in Pennsylvania. It various services include 24-hour on-call support, training and certification with monthly refresher training classes, and family and child advocacy and monitoring.
