Minerva's Cakes are the best.!i have been a big fan of there some 40 +years, there cake are always so creamy and fresh. there other goodies are awesome,its hard to pick what u want when u go there.one thing i really like about minervas is no mater where u go(parties) in this area u can bet that beautiful cake will be from Minervas,. i have been in there when a ladt drove from NEW York City to get a cake.I think the history can speak for itself,Minerva been in a big booming town since 1923 , but as we all know once the steel mills went down(80's) it is no longer the big city it once was, but yet anytime u visit Minervas there always alot of people in there coming and going. i agree with one other viewer on it being closed on sundays, i think that stinks, sunday being a big family feast day would be nice to have something home made from Minervas.

Minerva's Bakery is one of the best bakerys in pittsburgh.

Everyone who works there is always pleasent and very helpful.

Absolutely amazing, we got our daughter's first birthday cake there five years ago and have never gone anywhere else since. Their cake qaulity is incredible, icing is perfect and artwork mind blowing. One last tip don't forget to pick up some cookies for the ride home!
