Mckeesport Area High School serves students in grades nine through 12, and enrolls more than 1,400 students. The school s curriculum includes English, family and consumer sciences, fine arts and art, music, mathematics, physical education, science, social studies and technology education. Mckeesport Area High School also offers technology programs, such as allied health technology, autobody, automotive, business, building construction technology and cosmetology. Additionally, the school offers language courses in French, German and Spanish. The school provides cocurricular activities, such as bowling and chess club, speech and foreign language clubs; and football. Mckeesport Area High School provides scholarships, grants, awards and online resources. The school also offers various sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, soccer and cross country.
