This review comes to you as a concern for the integrity of your establishment. My first visit to the store was on 11/17/15 when I notice a "now hiring sign" on the front door. I had been looking for seasonal work for the holidays and thought I would stop in and grab an application. With my teenage son in tow, we walked in and noticed two women standing at the front desk. They weren't doing anything at the time but just standing around. I asked for an application and was given one, but neither one of them said "hello", "how you're doing", "can we help you"...absolutely nothing. They didn't even smile. I found it strange but I didn't think too much of it. So on 11/19/15, my son and I returned to the store to turn in the application. We were immediately greeted by a sales associate (who was very helpful by the way). She told us we were in luck because there were two managers on duty and we should talk to them about our application. As we made our way to the checkout counter, one of the managers (the older and larger one) was checking out a customer and the younger and thinner one was busy playing with her cell phone. Again...no one said hello, how are you doing, I'll be right with you, or nothing. After standing behind the customer and waiting for someone to acknowledge us for more than five minutes, I said, excuse me to the younger manager and said I was dropping off my application. She looked up (from her cell phone) and just took my application. I was expecting her to at least talk to me about the position, but again she said nothing, Ok by this time, I was really perplexed. I can understand you having a bad day every once in a while, but this was ridiculous. This was the second time in two days that I had visited this store and rec'd the same dreadful service. You see I have worked in the customer service field and been a Sales Director for over 15 years, so I know how this thing works. And I am a firm believer that if you don't acknowledge me in your store, then you certainly don't deserve my business. Before we made it out the front door, my son said to me "Mom, I don't want you working here because they aren't very nice". You know it's awful when a 16 year old recognizes the difference between good service vs. bad service. As far as my application is concerned, you can tear it up because there is no way on earth I would ever work for and with such unpleasant people...let alone buy from them!
