For years, one of our founders longed to introduce McKinney diners to the Mexican food he loved from the kitchen of his grandmother, Petra. So, in 2007, we created Petra to honor the delicious recipes from this beautiful woman. At Petra, we take more time to make everything from scratch, by hand, with the freshest ingredients from recipes that are authentically Mexican, not so much Texan.
