This place is highly overrated. The chips were greasy, the chili con queso was watered down, the enchiladas tasted awful, the burritos tasted canned like dog food smells, the chile relleno was really awful, nearly non-existent. I don't understand why you have to wait for a parking place at this restaurant...people on that side of town must enjoy texmex dog food. When the cashier asked how everything was, I held my tongue and just said it was all cold. I received no apology, nothing. She just took my money and smiled. Nothing about this restaurant is worth returning for. Yuk!

came waited to get sat down drinks were brought in pretty fast when they brought me the butter there were 2of them open and that made me think abiut the quality of the restraunt!

San Miguel Grill 506 W University Dr Mckinney, TX is a McKinney standard. We have been going there for at least 17 years and the food has always been fresh, and delicious! One of the owners always stops by the table to make sure everything is OK, and we have NEVER had a complaint in all these years. If you have lived in McKinney for a long time and like mexican food you already know about this place and won't need to read a review, but if you are a newbie and are looking for quality mexican food with excellent service, clean and nice atmosphere, and good prices then you must go to San Miguel Grill.

This restaurant is very authentic, well priced and the food is amazing! A local favorite for sure...
