George Washington Memorial Parkway has been developed as a memorial to George Washington, and acts as a route to various scenic, historical and recreational settings. George Washington Memorial Parkway offers various types of instructive programs that teach children about nature and history, including junior range, mini rangers and ranger-led programs.
