Patton Middle School, located in McMinnville, Ore., provides academic education to students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, art, science and social studies, world languages, and consumer and family science. It also offers technical and physical education. The school has a library that provides literary sources, newspapers and magazines, and Internet search tools. Patton Middle School offers a gym, computer lab and an auditorium. Additionally, the school offers various extracurricular activities, such as music, choir, drama, orchestra, theater and dance. It provides various sports activities, such as football, basketball, volleyball, cross country and wrestling. Patton Middle School offers after school and health and wellness programs. The school focuses on developing personal responsibility, leadership and problem-solving skills. The middle school enrolls more than 700 students and is a part of the McMinnville School District 40. The school was established in 1993 and offers a parent-teacher association.
