Growing up, McKenzie's fascination with medicine led her to discover the rewarding role of a physician assistant. It wasn't until her obstetrics and gynecology PA school rotations at Virginia Women's Center that she found her passion for women's health, feeling drawn to the specialty and the incredibly supportive team environment.
