When DeCrescente Distributing was founded in 1948, the wholesale beverage distributor used only one truck for its shipments of Fitzgerald s and Miller High Life beer. Today, the company sells a variety of different beers, including Canadian brews, such as Labatt, Molson and Moosehead; microbrews, such as Blue Moon, Sam Adams and Pete s Wicked; domestics, such as Miller, Coors, Killian s and Pabst; and imports, such as Newcastle, Red Stripe, Amstel Light, Guiness and Dos Equis. In all, the company distributes more than 8 million cases of beer annually to grocery stores, bars, restaurants, convenience stores and catering services in an 11-county area of upstate New York. DeCresente Distributing employs more than 300 people at its 170,000-square-foot facility in Mechanicsville, N.Y.
