this was one of the worst experiences of my life!! my car was in and out of there for at least 4 months with the exact same problem. most of the time my car would not make it home before the check engine light came on. one time the check engine light came on half way home, i popped the hood and the air filter was disconnected and sitting in the engine bay. another time i picked my car up and it stalled out pulling out of the shop and would not start again. i had a clutch slave cylinder replaced and the clutch felt TERRIBLE after. i took it back they said nothing was wrong. months later while driving a large spring feel out onto the floor underneath the steering wheel, turns out its a critical piece of the clutch system that returns the clutch that they failed to replace after installing the new slave cylinder. every time i took my car back there he asked me so what do you want me to do about it, how about fix my car already!! after 4 months of bs i went to nemer vw and my car was fixed in 1 single day with no problems in the year following. i wouldnt go back there if you payed me.

I'm convinced that this is THE PLACE to go for any Audi/VW/BMW issues. Period. Don't waste time with the dealership as these gentlemen are twice as knowledgeable for less than half the price of the dealership (for my Timing Belt replacement, at least).



This was my second visit to Marc's and I've been very pleased with each visit. You can expect a slightly longer wait time than at the stealership, but I can't hold it against them because they have absolutely earned the right to be busy by doing exceptional work and offering the most competitive pricing. And why rush perfection when it comes to your daily driver?

got it. Diagnosed and fixed my Volvo. Check engine light came on and that was all it took. There is just a great crew here.

So for this specific experience, I gave them 5 stars. That and for the first time in 3 years they were finally able to fix my check engine light. Which if you have owned a 2002, 2003 VW can be a major pain.
