They present the place very we...

They present the place very well, however, their service is terrible.

The one thing that I really cared about was if there was parking since I work unusual hours and absolutely need to be able to park. This place is supposedly gated and had a relatively large parking lot. However, the guards are usually too lazy to keep the gate down since they end up having to deal with people who forget their parking access card, deliveries, etc. So I frequently see a lot of people parking in the lot that do not have parking stickers. Recently, if I get back after around 10pm, there's no space left at all. Apparently, then we are supposed to go to the parking structure that you can pay extra for and call the gatehouse guard to open it so you can park for the night on the top level where there are extra parking spaces. This is already an extra hassle even if it worked. I tried this last night. I tried calling repeatedly for an hour without being answered. This made sense when I drove back to the gatehouse to see no guard in it. I assume they were likely taking a nap. I tried calling the office and got a call answering service. That person said they would contact the guards and have the guards call me. Have still not gotten a call and it's close to 8 hours later. Since last time I tried just parking on the curb (inside the apartment's gates, there's no street parking anywhere near this place) when there was no spaces and got a parking violation notice and was told that they would tow me after getting three of those, I ended up driving back to my work parking lot and just sleeping in my car. Yup. Instead of the apartment that I pay for, I was forced to sleep in my car. Why do people who don't live here continue to park without consequences, yet I pay rent and can't find parking and must sleep in my car'

Aside from that, every time we ask for service, the office sends someone and those people just leave a note that says whatever we said was broken is working. We had to ask at least 3 times to have the blinds fixed so they don't let light in when I'm trying to sleep in the day. It took around 5 times and over a month to get my mailbox key. The dishwasher is only using detergent every other time or so (half the time, the door to the detergent tray gets stuck). I called and specifically said it is working intermittently. The service people come and it works. So they just leave a note saying it works. Then the next time, it fails to work for us again. Additionally, they service people only run it for a moment and stop the dishwasher to check if the detergent door opened. This left an entire load of dishes caked with detergent.

It's just terrible service for not that nice of an apartment for how much it costs. I was only willing to pay more than I would have otherwise because I was told that parking would not be a problem. Being forced to find street parking everyday might be easier and it probably would have cost several hundred less per month than this place (per person).
