My visit to American Hearing Aid was one of desperation, I showed up near tears to American Hearing in hopes they could fix my 15 year old hearing aids after failing a medical test for a CDL. I desperatly needed to pass this test to gain a job after 2 years of unemployment. Richard greeted me with respect and an enormous amount of compassion! He took my aids to his office and returned with great news and said he already ordered the parts and he would call me in a couple days. The next day I was talking with my father in-law that had just been placed on hospice and was with regret only given 2 weeks to live. He asked if he might borrow my aids so that he could participate in important conversations regarding finances and health. I replied that mine would not necessarily fit or work for him but that I would speak to Richard about fixing his so that his final days would be spent with full knowledge of what was being discussed of his final days. He was very excited about this possibility and when Richard was on board with seeing what he could do to help I was amazed at his level of compasion. Richard was able to fix my father in-laws aids in minutes and I was able to return them to my father in-law. The next day my father in-law had a meeting with an investor and later with hospice and was able to discuss important details in regards to his estate and health. The most amazing thing about this story is my father in-law and I in this event never spent a dime. Richard saved two very desparate people in one week on my watch. What an amazing man! I will never go anywhere else!
