My landlord passed away and his wife hired Lori to take over all their rentals. She was instantly on a power trip, changing the date we have to pay rent, etc.. She didn't give us a new contract, just an amendment letter.stating all the new rules. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way, and we didn't sign anything with her. Needless to say all she accomplished was running off me and my neighbor.My landlord lost 2 good, long term tenants.Lori is now keeping our deposit and claims we owe her $250. We had the house professionally cleaned, carpets too. Everything she claimed to keep our deposit for was a lie. We will see you in court Lori.Please, don't rent, or have them manage your property.
