10/21/2011First to ReviewMr. Gurney provided me with superb service at an hour of rather desperate need. My husband's mother had died abroad, and we had to have a document notarized and delivered by Fed Ex to him on a Monday in he Bay Area. This was happening on a Saturday. I was in Ashland to see plays; my husband, in Berkeley, needed the notarized form before he could leave the country to go to his mother's funeral. Mr. Gurney downloaded the form from the Internet, printed it for me, notarized and served as the courier to get it to Fed Ex and out for delivery. My husband got the package on time on Monday so he could leave the country on Monday. Mr Gurney was not only efficient and kind. I am glad to give him a 5-star rating.

12/19/2014Medford Mailbox is a GEM!!! Bob has provided me with amazing customer service twice (one of which was today). My fiance and I first went to Medford Mailbox two days after we were engaged (and 4 days after I moved to Medford from NJ) to use his public notary services so I could be on my fiance's health insurance. Bob was very helpful and professional and his notary fees were very reasonable. I had no doubt after we walked out that we were completely taken care of and everything was legit.This afternoon I went to Medford Mailbox to mail last minute holiday gifts across the country so I wouldn't have to tackle long lines at the post office. Wow! What a great experience! Bob was very busy but took the time to look over my packages and recommend that I add some more "padding" to one of my box of gifts and offered to cut the box down for me, so that the gifts would fit more snuggly inside and not bounce around as much. Before I told him I needed 3 day shipping he offered to give me quotes for both FedEx and UPS (only UPS does 3 day). As I was paying he told me that even if UPS came before he was able to cut the box down, he guarantees all of his express packages for their deadline delivery and that he would see that my package arrived by Christmas Eve...and let me tell you, I have no doubt that it will! He even gave me a little tear-off calendar as a thank you gift for being a customer this holiday season! I'm not sure how much (if any) extra it costs to use Medford Mailbox to ship instead of the Postal Service, FedEx, or UPS but it is well worth it! This man cares very much about getting your packages where they need to be. He charges reasonable rates and he knows EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING there is to know about package delivery. He really, really, really cares. I have decided after today that I will be using Medford Mailbox for all of my mailing and delivery needs...ALL OF THEM! This is a man that deserves your business.
