Crooks. Owner called me while drunk and repeatedly called me a mother fucker. His goon Derek is no better. He called me a scumbag and said he'd like to see me die living under a bridge.
Violated protocol and started preemptively repossessing vehicles.
We had a 5th wheel we were living in that was part of collateral pool. They came and took that and our truck while my 22 month old grandson was staying with us. Left us standing at an RV park homeless, with no vehicle with our toddler grandson.
I used to go to bat for these guys. Boy was I wrong. They basically raped me then stabbed me in the back.
And Beware - they put a tracking device in your car without telling you. It is only legal to put these in with full disclosure to the customer.
STAY FAR AWAY! If you don't, you will regret it.

Provided by YP.comCan't WARN people enough to not go here. It took over 9 hours for them to complete the sale, I came from Redding CA. They lied to me while I had been sitting for over an hour in a salesmans office saying they couldn't pull up my credit report to determine APR. The Manager ? Owner? not sure what he was, was visibly drinking/drunk in his office when I walked down to see where my salesman was. The 2005 Kia Sorrento has had several costly issues within the first 6 months. There is no integrity with this group and I saw a great lack of unprofessionalism, Even!! over the phone with the Female owner of WFA, when I went to pay off the car to stop the 29.99 money sucking pymts to these folks. Their words are meaningless so please don't get sucked into buying a vehicle from this losing integrity business.

We came into World Famous Auto to find a dependable car for our youngest daughter. She is a full time mother and student at Rogue Community College and needed a vehicle that she could depend on to get her from point A to Point B. Also one that we didn't have to pour money into to keep in running status, low maintenance. We left their lot with car, keys and a great deal! Thank-you the Hietts

Provided by YPmobilethis place knows exactly what's wrong with every car and yet still lies to make a quick buck! anybody on this lot would sell their soul just to see big $$$. I bought a 1997 dodge neon and was told by Ramero that the previous owner had stated that the whole top of the engine was recently done indicating that the timing belt water pump spark plugs and wires were replaced. when I took it home I felt a puttering and went to get it looked at and that's when the list started.
*motor mounts are stripped
*misfire in one cylinder due to low compression
*rear breaks are shot
*timing belt is worn badly and needs to be replaced along with the water pump
pretty much the whole engine is destroyed. I told the sales man I was in a bad situation and had very little money and he said its an old car but its good. I told him about the problems and he said that all mechanics want is money so they will tell you anything! and I told him it was a family friend so its not that he than proceeds to tell me its just an older car they have problems. most 1997 cars don't need a whole new engine!
all in all they won't refund me money I'm stuck with no car and no money still walking. these people are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY VERY SLEEZE! only go here if you wish to be ripped off and taken advantage of because This place is a dump!

Your logic seems to be built upon a very ghetto outlook. Kinda sleeze ballish. You seem to be angry at a buyer who is upset and with good reason... your logic is - shame on that individual, because they should have known better to have had the vehicle checked out before purchasing it... Therefore it is obviously that individuals fault that they, like many other buyers and yourself included (seems like way too many bad deals made at this used car lot... according to even you) bought a LEMON from this seller...and while there is NO DOUBT in my mind that this seller had the vehicle checked out prior to purchasing and putting the dealerships name behind it... I think that your ethics and customer empathy is beyond scuzz bucket! Here is a concept that you should try... tell people in advance what it is that they are buying and sale that item for its market value instead of overcharging ..and falling behind the good ole," well you should have known better to buy a vehicle from this dealership" excuse."... And when and if something should go wrong with a vehicle after it is driven off the lot...do not get mad at the innocent who spent 5000 dollars or more, trusting that they were driving away with something lasting, as in more than a few days.....instead, be fair! Its called good customer service.... p.s. I was merely checking this page because I was looking for a car, however was completely turned off by this companies FORMER sales person.

Provided by YP.comEvery person employed at World Famous Auto is a crook. These people do not care about you, they care purely about making a profit. Here is why; we bought a 4 Runner from them for 5000 dollars. Not even a week later, it stops running. Turns out the transmission is shot. We trade in the 4 Runner for a Saturn and they tell us that they will completely get rid of the 4 Runner's loan. They do not bother to tell us that we will also be paying for the equity on the 4 Runner. Here is the deal, I understand the vehicle is 'as is' but these people will lie to you just to make a buck. The owner is completely unprofessional; we were there one night while he was literally having a fit, screaming and cussing, in his office. He had the audacity to tell us to recommend his business our friends. Please, save yourself the pain, and never ever go to this place.

They will be your best friend until they get the down payment and get you off the lot. Our car ran for 4 days and died, over $1000 to repair. World Famous would not do anything but be arrogant and rude. Even told my mother to get the F*** off their property, she was trespassing. We were not even aruguing at that point. If you want to be ripped off and abused...go buy a car from them, otherwise go elsewhere.

Hello I bought a car from World Famous Auto several years ago. I upgraded considering my car needed a repair when I brought it in, they said it was worth it for them to fix it. They gave me a decent down with it. I asked them for a low payment and they gave me an affordable car. I was going to have a new baby soon and asked them for a decent car to get me around. They showed me many cars and let me look around and test drive any I chose. I picked a Buick it Still runs good to this day and has been well traveled with, Thank You W.F.A.

Provided by YP.comOk. So I took the time to read maybe two reviews and it's hillarious. OK! When you buy a car from any USED dealership the paperwork clearly states you are buying this vehicle as is no warranty. If you do not want problems with a vehicle have YOUR mechanic check out the vehicle first. The sales man is not going to know all that is wrong with a vehicle because his job is just to make the sale! They will say ANYTHING to get you to leave with a car. My suggestion to you people is again - check the FINE PRINT. It's not just World Famous Autos. In my experience I have been with them for over a year now. If you make your payments on time and dont give them a reason to be dickish to you than they are a pretty good company. I had originally bought a 2000 honda civic from there - owned it a month and boom the engine went out for no reason! Here comes the fine print - as is no warranty. - In the kindness of there hearts and after a week ina half of pesturing - they replaced my honda civic for a 2000 mitsubishi diamante CLEAN condition. It got me all the way to Michigan and back four times no problems! I live in Michigan state now - and I make my payments on time and I rarely ever have to speak to them. They are a GOOD dealership and I usually work directly with ALLEN! ! DONT TELL PEOPLE TO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE BECAUSE IF YOU ARE GUNNA GET PISSED AT A DEALERSHIP FOR DOING THERE JOB .. THAN MAYBE YOUR THE PERSON THAT NEEDS THE REALITY CHECK - NOT THEM! ! - NATALIE

Provided by YPmobileI myself had heard bad things about this company, but we bought a SUV from them 4 years ago and have never had an issue. They worked with our credit situation and even re-fi'd us 2 years in to lower our interest and payments. Everytime I needed a few extra days to make my payment, they worked with me. I will buy from them again. :)

One good screw deserves another May 20,2012 Please contact me through e-mail concerning how I can help my very good friend sue WFA for three vehicles that were returned due to unsafe equipment. He also paid for damages to the first vehicle that were present at the time of purchase. Even though him and the sales man had a lengthy conversation about living in the snow and having medical issues that require four wheel drive to work. The sales man lied the four wheel drive did not work and my friend spent $300.00 to repair the locking hubs. WFA didn't offer reimbursement for parts or labor and then completed another contract for a vehicle that the transfer case didn't work either, but before driving the vehicle away both the sales person and buyer got under the vehicle and the consumer said "stick your hand on the cross member near the transfer case it looks and smells like gear oil" the sales individual said "oh no it used to leak but the problem has been fixed." The consumer advised it was obvious after three times but was assured on the third contract that the vehicle was safe. The vehicle had something wrong with it but at first the consumer thought he just wasn't used to driving this type of truck. But after several months and very infrequent driving the problem was so bad that it was difficult to keep the truck on the road so the consumer called and advised WFA to come get it because he was too scarred to drive it on the freeway. They sent a flat bed truck to retrieve the very unsafe Nissan pathfinder because they were given notifications of the safety defect interim in May 2011 and second in July 2011. bought a 97 chevy silverado ext 4x4 from em, said would do a few things to it ended up not doing the simple things but overall got the deal done.. have had the pickup for almost a year now and runs good.. actually considering going back for a larger truck to tow my travel trailer. Door handles were broke, said would fix ( was cheap fix 35.00 set) and tailgate straps broke ( 40.00 bucks i fixed) overall was is a decent place and if your credit not all that great they do get it done and work hard to get the price right monthly so I would give them credit for that def. If your in a pickle with credit doesn't mean you take what you get, be picky like I did and CHECK OUT YOUR CAR YOUR BUYING! Don't toss money in the drain on a junker! They have good rigs this one is a good one!

I have bought 13 cars from them does that say anything. Yes it does it means every one they sold me was garbage. Since I was making payments to them I could not afford to fix any of them so I would end up trading them in for something else. Now that I am out from under them. I went to XS cars and trucks got an awesome deal on a great Suburban I payed $3600 for a 99 Suburban 2500 the same year and style Heritage motors is selling for $10,000. And my Suburban is in excellent condition. I cannot find a thing wrong with it and Neither can my mechanic or Les Schwab.

The service at World Famous Autos is horrible. We had a car repossessed when the payment was not late and not even due. In fact, the payments were never late. The repo person showed false documents, they refused to give us our personal belongings from inside the vehicle. Additionally, they never mailed a notice of sale, which is required by law! This website can help consumers worldfamousautos.info who have had similar experiences.
