AirNet offers infrastructure solutions for commercial GSM customers, and government, defense, homeland security based agencies. AirNet s base station incorporates patented broadband transceiver technology that eliminates the need for multiple costly components typically found in narrowband base stations resulting in a less expensive, smaller footprint product. AirNet s base station today supports a seamless migration from the 2G voice services to the voice and data services of 2.5G as well as future 3.5G/4G solutions (e.g., 802.16, WiMAX). AirNet's patented, software-defined radio technology and intellectual property forms the basis for a full range of compact, rapidly-deployed base stations. AirNet s product architecture is readily adaptable to WiMAX 802.16 (d)(e) Standards. No other manufacturer of cellular base stations has a product architecture adaptable for WiMAX mobility applications. Having been a pioneer in Broadband SDR OFDM technology, AirNet s engineering team has over 10 years of experience dedicated to the advancement and deployment of our product architecture. In fact, about 20 out of the 70 patents cover key intellectual property in wideband OFDM/FFT, which may be critical in the development of such broadband wireless systems.
