Dr. Clark Brown graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Biology / Biochemistry. He spent one year in a masters program studying physiology at California State University, Hayward. Dr. Brown enrolled in dental school at Georgetown University in 1974 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1978.After graduation, Dr. Brown joined the United States Air Force and served as a dental officer at Patrick AFB, Melbourne, Florida. In 1981, he left military service and began private practice in Melbourne, Florida. He started training in dental implants in 1982 and in 1985 founded Implant Dentistry of Florida. He became board certified by the American Board of Implantology / Implant Dentistry in 1993. He was one of the first 160 dentists in the world to receive Diplomate status in dental implantology. As technology entered the dental field, Dr. Brown embraced these advances by incorporating CEREC 3-D CAD/CAM single visit crowns into his practice. He has also added the Sirona Galileos 3-D cone beam scanner which allows 3 dimensional viewing of the facial bones, allowing exact placement of dental implants. He is a national speaker for Sirona on digital dentistry and a CEREC trainer. Dr. Brown authored the iBook Galileos Cone Beam and CEREC Integration, available in the iBookstore. He regularly teaches digital dentistry and guided dental implant surgery. To keep up with the latest techniques, Dr. Brown is a certified Invisalign and MTM provider and is one of a few dentists worldwide to be certified by the Chao Pinhole Academy for Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation. He regularly attends conferences and courses on all aspects of dentistry, with particular emphasis on Implant Dentistry. Dr. Brown believes that continuing education is essential to delivering the best available dentistry to my patients.
