Provided by YP.comThank you to everyone we delt with at Gator Jeep, just purchased a new Grand Cherokee, wife, kids and i love it. Last 3 cars i purchased have been Nissans. I was drawn to gator because they have more nissans than the nissan store down the street, I previously purchsed cars from. Fun people to deal with at gator and made the purchasing experiance easy. Thanks again, Reynolds Family

Provided by YP.comDo not buy a car at this dealership. They will steal your trade and sell theirs over book value. Watch out of extremely high add ons from the girl that closes you and gets your signatures on all the paperwork. The gap insurance is 50% less through the bank directly! The service department is a nightmare, they will do service that is not necessary. I know, I learned the hard way.

Provided by YP.comMy "salesman" was actually a manager, Gerry. A familiar face, Charlie, who used to work at Kelly Ford (I bought a truck in 2008 there) who now works at Gator, and I thought I was going to get what he said was "invoice" on a car, and he gave me Gerry to work with. Gerry is the most unprofessional man I've met in this business in the last 35 years. On the test drive we went to a Hyundai dealership on New Haven of all things, he quoted me $14,000 on a used car, and when we started the paperwork, he raised the price $19,995, and then said he'll discount it $4000. That's still $2000 more than what he said in the parking lot. I had a hard time getting out of there with the old school high pressure tactics, but I closed the place after 9pm and he finally wanted to go home more than me. I checked KBB and it's actually a $13,000 car. Next morning he called and said "come in, it's ready for you to sign." But I said I found another car and AT KBB price, not $2000 over like he was trying to do. I expected some apology or excuse, but instead, he became irate and started shouting at me! His exact words were " I kissed your a$$ last night, your trade is worthless and I gave you $1700 for it, and you're going somewhere else? I thought you knew cars?" I swore at him at that point, and he had no problem swearing back at me. I am so glad I didn't buy from this guy. I did buy from Nissan, and they were so far and above this cave man, I'll never step foot on Gator's lot ever again. I'm still irritated, but writing this review does relieve some of the frustration and how they wasted a WHOLE day of my time. I even left a message with Joe Kelly to tell him about my experience. It's one thing for a flunky salesman to screw up, it's another for a manager to attempt cheating a repeat customer.
