Over the holidays, I ended up in over my head trying to install some new three-way smart dimmer switches I bought on Amazon. My house wiring is the product of 40 years worth of weekend warriors like myself trying and occasionally failing to do their own electrician work, so I finally needed to call a professional to sort out the wiring madness.

My wife recommended Gault because they are the most commonly recommended electrician in our neighborhood Facebook group for June Park, West Melbourne. When I called Gault, they answered immediately and scheduled me for service with no fuss. They were very upfront about how they charge for service, the rates, and what charges entail. I didn’t even have to ask.

I didn’t know anything about Gault, and their website is so professional looking that I figured they might just be a chain company with ‘sales metrics’ and the like. I was pleasantly surprised when Ed and Cody Gault showed up at my door. They’re just an honest, local family business that cares about the reputation they earn with neighbors like me. No salesy tactics or trying to upsell me on anything, and no surprise extras when I received the final bill (for which the final amount was very agreeable).

In addition to having them install my smart dimmer switches, I asked to fix wiring in four of my light switch panels, fix my microwave, fridge, and garbage disposal switch wiring, change a 240v to 120v circuit, replace a well pump switch, run two new lines to my breaker box, and replace 3 GFCI outlets on my back patio. They were even careful to color, feature, and amperage match the outlets I had before. I was not necessarily expecting such attention to detail. - and they work fast. All that was done in a fraction of a morning. They were very personable too, and they didn’t mind taking some time to explain things and answer some questions I had about how it works, what’s normal vs not, and even the physics of it.

I am a single mom with a disabled son. Gault Electric LLC came to my condo and arrived much earlier than expected. They are very professional. I cannot express in words of the kindness of this Company. They went way beyond for me. Thank you so very much Debbie and Bobby

Called Gault Electric at 10pm regarding a partial power outage issue. Jeff Gault called right back and provided expert advice including his diagnosis and told me to call FPL at a special number and to relocate refrigerator to another outlet with an extension cord to keep it running and to shut down A/C and some other circuits. Bottomline, Gault was there when I needed them and everything they told me was spot-on. And, they called me the next morning to follow-up to make sure everything was taken care of and of course all of this advice was free. Best Customer Service Ever! Thank you Gault Electric. I'll be sure to call them for all my electrical needs in the future.

They did the work great, but when the sprinkler system tripped the breaker repeatedly I called them out to check to see if they wired it properly...although no work was done I was charged 122.50. That's not a warranty.
