Dr. Helft and his staff are probably the best in this county! I came to them about 6 years ago after dealing with our first pediatrician, who wouldn't see my sick baby with asthma and wanted to just send me home. Dr. Helft took on our emergency right away and it's been an awesome experience ever since. He even gave me his cell number one time just to make sure an issue with my daughter's medicine got resolved. So far I have never been turned down for an emergency appointment. Even when they're packed, they make room to see my daughter. It's unfortunate for the people who got "turned down" for service, but when you really think about it, that was probably a hard decision for the doctor to make. Dr. Helft has a lot of patients and if he were to take on too many patients, the quality of his service and care would probably deteriorate for everyone, and I'm sure he doesn't want that because he does care. That's probably why they got turned down. I am very happy with this office!

What a professional and outstanding place for children. Dr. Helft and Mrs. Comer always displays care and concern for our kids!! Even though it took a little bit to get in due to high volume of applications it was definitely worth the wait.

Very nice Dr and amazing staff. My kids love going to see Dr. Helft. Have been with them for over 10yr. . Wish all Dr. took the time he does with Pt and listing to parent to help understand what is going on with their child.

Sorry for the people that were turned down for dr. Helft, BUT... You are sadly mistaken because he and his staff are wonderful very friendly and excellent mannerism. I am lucky my boys are healthy. Dr. Helft is not only an excellent dr. He is a great man as well .

I just moved to Florida and I have 2 healthy children. My daughter is 19 months and I need to get her 18 month shots to get her back on schedule! I called to get and appointment and they only take patients on a case to case base! I was also called back a day later and told they would not take on my children! poor service! I was asked very few questions about my kids... name, date of birth, insurance, then asked how i heard about them, and where i was coming from! I live with in walking distance of this Dr. and I will never go here no matter how awesome their website makes them look! Was hoping to find a Dr. as awesome as our one in KC was!!!

I called to make appointment for my 5 month, (I am still looking for a good ped) they said this "dr" only take new patients on a case by case review. So they had to take down some very vague questions that told then nothing what's so ever as to who my little guy is and that they would call me back. The "dr" there apparently doesn't feel like taking on my perfectly healthy child. If your not able to take new patients because your to busy then say that. Never met this guy but poor customer service . I will be sharing this with everyone
