Went into the Vitamin Shoppe with no idea what i wanted or needed. At first i brushed off attempts from the employee to help me. Health issues are usually things that are not easily discussed with strangers. I finally decided to ask one question. Thinking, they probably won't know the answer. Not only did she know the answer, after we talked a few minutes she described other symptoms and problems like she had known me for years, things i had not even discussed with her. i was amazed. I had several items in my hand, and she asked me what i was getting those items for. I told her my reasoning behind purchasing those items, she politely took them and said you dont need that. Wow, a store that wants you to get the merchandise helpful to you and not just there to sell everything they can. This employee was knowledgable, helpful, and truly seemed to enjoy what she was doing. If she wasn't sure of interactions with a prescription i was taking she would go look it up on the computer. Again, trying to make sure i got the right thing for me not just trying to sell, sell, sell. The Vitamin shoppe is one place i will continue to visit. They have an excellent website as well. Full of Health information. and health calculators. They also have a frequent shoppers club.

The store has vitamins and minerals, herbs, health and beauty, sports nutrition, homeopathic and lots of useful information. Make sure if you are considering supplements to go talk to someone at the Vitamin Shoppe before you purchase anything. It is well worth your time. and it is your money, so make sure you get the right thing.
