Melcher-Dallas Community School District is an educational system that owns and operates elementary, middle and high school campuses. It offers classes in various subjects, such as social studies, math, science, physical education, language arts and foreign languages. The district also provides several sporting facilities, including basketball, football, softball, baseball and wrestling. It enrolls more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten though grade 12 and offers activities related to art, music, choir and band. In addition, Melcher-Dallas Community School District has an alumni association that provides scholarship funds to graduating high school students attending college. Its Melcher-Dallas Athletic Booster Club promotes and supports the athletics and extracurricular activities of the school system.
