THE SINGLE WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD! Tried to have a dishwasher purchased from Home Depot delivered twice with no luck. Both times the drivers came into the house "to inspect the premises first" and came up with a lame excuse not to install the dish washer unit both times. Should have known something was up when they parked at the end of the block and didn't bring the new unit with them. After 10 minutes they said they exceeded their time limit and must proceed to the next job. I'm thinking to myself, you guys didn't even start THIS job. They simply disregarded any reasoning and left. Meanwhile I still have no washer and no response back from Home Depot or Spirit.

They gave me a window of 9am-1pm. They called me back and stated, their truck broke down and needed to push my time back to 3pm-7pm. I have other appointments, why am I being inconvenienced, because of their mechanical issues. Then I spoke with Lucille and she stated "I am lucky because it could've been worst". Are you serious? Just throw your customer service handbook away!!! Now, I am holding... waiting to speak to a manager. Shame on you J.C. Penny for hiring a "ghetto", unprofessional and mismanaged business. I will never order anything else from J.C. Penny and be aware of this business....What a way to stare my weekend

I have never encountered such ...

I have never encountered such disrespectful delivery service. I've ordered a headboard from target.com. It took 4 days for it to travel from Ontario, CA to Chicago, IL. However it took 3 weeks for spirit delivery service to deliver it last 25 miles from their distribution center to my house. At first spirit scheduled delivery for Thursday, however it didn't happen. Their excuse was that their gps couldn't find my address and they had no idea where to go. I guess no one could of call me to obtain some directions. Next day that I called their office I found out that I cannot pickup my item myself, and that I have to wait another week for delivery. As soon as I reached target rep, I was able to receive the item next day. I've been in a transportation business for last couple of years and I have no idea how are they able to stay in business for so long. I do not recommend to use their service.

Spirit Delivery w/Home Depot

My first experience w/Spirit Delivery was through Home Depot recently when i purchased a washer & dryer. The gentleman who came inside my home was very abrasive & unprofessional.
