I was raised by this congregation, and they have since supported me through many joys and heartaches. My parents were married at Buntyn in 1974; I was baptized there; and my grandmother's funeral service was held there several years ago.



Buntyn has had a somewhat tumultuous history, but remains intact because of the Christian warmth and unconditional love it offers (this is something you will feel the minute you walk into the sanctuary, no matter your past or your affiliations).



Buntyn's current pastor has brought with him not only his wisdom, humility, and wonderful family, but a number of newer congregants, who have integrated seamlessly with the Buntyn I've always known.



For me, Buntyn has provided a community of care and prayer when I've been in need, as well as the opportunity for me to engage in Jesus's teachings by helping others. Still, all that is no adequate descriptor of what Buntyn has meant to me through the years.



If you long for warmth, worship (minus Christian rock, plus amazing music), a thoughtful sermon, interracial fellowship, and sometimes-challenging conversation, try this place out. You won't be disappointed.
