In April 2002, DBI Beverage Memphis purchased the assets of Crown Distributing Company, a leading beverage distributor in Memphis, Tenn. At the time of the purchase, Crown was distributing product of 28 different suppliers and serving approximately 1,700 accounts in Shelby County, Tenn. Since the Crown acquisition, DBI has forged a relationship with Coors Brewing Company, one of the United States largest brewers. The company s products include domestic beers, such as Keystone, Coors and Old Milwaukee; energy drinks, such as Boo Koo, Fuze and Uno Mass Bebida De Energia; a variety of imported beers, such as Belgian, Canadian, Chinese, English, German, Irish, Jamaican, Japanese and Mexican; malternatives, such as Jack Daniel s and Zima XXX; malts; nonalcoholic beverages, such as the Arizona brand of drinks; nonalcoholic malt beverages; and an assortment of specialties, which include Bartles & Jaymes, Boone s, George Killian, Hornsby s, Pete s and Shiner. DBI Beverage Memphis is headquartered in Memphis, Tenn.
