Provided by YPmobileThis is a worst Apartments in whole memphis! The office people are rude and unprofessional! They don't care about any problems in your apartment. Building so old that no reconstruction can help it! Don't expect that you will get your deposit back. They will find all the possible illegal ways to keep it. The owners don't care about residence they just keep rasing the lease coast without any notice to the residences! Don't even think to move here! Worst place to stay! I can't even put one star for this place!

Provided by YP.comI have lived here for two years. I can hear my neighbor's music, even when they do not play it too loud. The music makes my bed physically vibrate, when they do. I can routinely hear my neighbors doors open, shut and close, and occasionally the murmurings of conversations. While this is to a degree an evil of communal living, I do think the noise is louder and clearer than that at other places I have resided. Fire alarms happen early in the A.M. (like 2, 3, or 4), requiring the use of the stairs as the elevators shut down. Those poor souls on the higher floors! And speaking of elevators, I do not remember using the middle of the three elevators recently, as its been inoperable. I had shattered, falling glass from the building almost hit me as I walked by the building a little over a year ago. Additionally, earlier this spring, debris from the building struck a car parked on the street, at least, this is what i gleaned passing the driver's and an Exchange building representative's discourse on the street. I had water damage go unattended for several months even after a couple of timely complaints. At the close of winter, my heater went out and spring was upon us before the building sent someone to inspect it. Since early summer, my air conditioning (in addition to other units, which I gleaned from grumblings in the hallway and elevator) repeatedly stops pumping cool/cold air. Several floors faced about a week of no A/C a month or so ago. Memphis in the summer means I have often faced temperatures of low 80s in my apartment (this number will only go up the deeper into summer it gets) with about 60% humidity, making it very muggy and uninhabitable. The heat eventually lead to feeling faint and nausea. I spent several nights either with family or wishing I was with family. Two of my three windows are painted shut and for the longest time a wasp nest resided outside the third window. Maintenance promises to visit early in the morning to fix it, but does not show. Maintenance will not even show up in the evenings. I understand that not all can afford to live elsewhere and that the allure of this building in your eyes now is the rental price. Read this again so you know what's ahead of you as a future tenant.
