Hickory Ridge Elementary School provides educational services to more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade five. It employs a staff of over 55 teachers and paraprofessionals, including guidance counselors, speech therapists and media specialists. The school conducts classes in several subjects, such as language arts, reading, writing, math, science, English and social studies. It conducts basic learning sessions in physical education, technology, music, and arts and crafts. Hickory Ridge Elementary School also offers the English as a Second Language, special education, and before- and after-school programs. The school is a part of Memphis City Schools, which provides services to students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
