ok...I have dealt with contractors for 38 years in another industry. I can tell you that if your cusotmer base is contratcors (in Kalb's case some are guys that do yard work for a living) you have to provide a decent level of service after the sale and you have to know the product or they will not be repeat customers. You have to build that infrastructure to provide that lveel of serivce, over many years. I was tired of buying Sears Craftsman Professional and Northern Tool weed wackers so I went in there (Kalb) told them I wanted a decent one...and the contractor standing there over heard me ...and said "get the RedMax". Also there was a contractor at the counter getting respectful, fair service of a weed wacker. Anyway ...I bought the $350 mid level Red MAx ...it was full of gas and ready to use.. 2 year warranty ...Kalb does the service...it is light weight and is easy to re-spool and it seems like a high rpm powerful motor.I've used it for a month now. Also ... Bill Robinson with Cobra (another commentator about Kalb) took a huge treee off of a house across from me last year. He uses only the best equipment and does good fast work...so I respect what he says about Kalb.

The Kalb Brothers have been taking care of all my Tractor, Generator, Lawn Equipment and Chain Saw needs since 1980 and I am a very satisfied customer.
If you go buy to see if they can help you , tell them I sent you over there.
