My 92yrs. Old mother was recently evicted from her apartment because the smoke detector was activated in her apartment because my sister was cooking, there was no smoke and no damage was done to the apartment yet they gave her a 10 day notice. She has lived in the apt for 13yrs. And always paid her rent on time and was never a problem to anyone she lived alone. Now they will not return to her security deposit, they lied and said there was damage to the apt even though we have a host of visitors to the apt that swear nothing was wrong in the apt, please do not move into this place you will and can be evicted without notice and will also lose your security deposit.
