Provided by YP.comI wish I could say that this service center has changed for the better. I feel like Charlie Brown when Lucy moves that football. I have bought tires there, so I have had to go there for occasional repairs or replacement. Once, they broke my tire pressure monitoring system and wanted $180 from me to fix it. I'm still checking my tire pressure the old fashioned way. Another time, a major transmission fluid leak that was not there before appeared out of nowhere, costing me several hundred dollars. Today, I went to Autozone first when my check engine light came on. I figured that knowing ahead of time might help, and thought I'd give Mathis Goodyear one more chance. I needed spark plugs and an ignition coil. After doing there own checking and confirmation, they presented me with an estimate of about $500. I was shocked and felt so stupid for letting them do it to me again. I was so upset that I ended up paying their $100 fee just for looking at it, and walked out.......for good!

Provided by YP.comMathis has made a change for the better!!! I had a great experience there recently. i sent in for tires and was expecting the worst when i saw the sales girl approaching. She shook my hand and told me the tires were on and that my car was great! She told me to keep up the good work also!! That is an awesome experience!!

Provided by YPmobileI left as an unsatisfied customer today. I work in the area of this location so it really was a matter of convenience. Three months ago i was told i had massive oil leaks which was completely false, i took my vehicle back to the dealership which is still under warranty and was told there was no such thing. Within that time frame i have gotten my car serviced by the dealer and have had my oil changes at other locations. But i decided to go back today and the clerk asked if i got my leaks repaired i responded no cause there was not such a thing! I drive 3 hours in a day so if it was massive leaks i would have had numerous problems at some point since then but i have not plus it has been other places and was not informed of this diagnosis they gave me. So the clerk leaves speaks to a manager and comes back and refuses to do my oil change. I am very dissatisfied and disgusted that you would assume that you are correct about a vehicle that i drive on a daily and have had none what so ever problem with pertaining to their diagnosis. This is definitely the last time i will be insulted and refused service. I am shocked and a polled at this service i received. Even when Mathis told me that i had the leaks they still offered to change it that day so why not try to please me today when i know my vehicle is fine.

Provided by SuperpagesI appreciate the great service I received at Goodyear. My sons car was running sluggish. We took it to Goodyear where they quickly figured out the problem. The staff was very helpful and the facility was very clean. We will definitely be back!!!

Provided by YPmobilewhile I was waiting forever for a tire to be replaced I heard conversations the sales had with people about various work on their vehicle. basically taking advantage of people who dont know any better. The salesman asked me when the last time I had my 2012 suburban aligned.
I told him its not a year old and only has 4000 miles he said it wouldn't hurt. Avoid this place!!!

Provided by YP.comThese people are completely unethical and ripped me off without any shred of mercy when I traveled to Memphis.
I asked for my AC to be fixed. They estimated $500 or so. Then when I picked up my car, the charge ended up being over $1000. They had done extra work without my permission. I did try to complain to their manager at the time, but he didn't give a damn.
With such a price tag, you'd expect the quality of the repair to be good, right? So they say that the problem was a leaky hose, which they replaced. One month later, the AC stopped working again and I had a different place look at it. The new place found a VERY OLD hose where Mathis Tire & Auto service supposedly installed a new hose. So in essence, what happened was that Mathis took a used hose and replaced my old leaky hose, and had the gall to charge me $1000, all without my permission.
The second place charged me less about $60 to replace the hose and refill my refrigerant.
Mathis Tire & Auto people represent the worst car repair shops have to offer and has made me very distrustful of repair shops in general. Even though I've never been ripped off this bad, I must thank them for setting the bar low enough for all other repair shops to exceed.
Do not use them under any circumstance, unless you don't mind getting ripped off!

Provided by SuperpagesI got my oil changed and tires rotated because I had a coupon and it was a good deal. The guy there recommended that I get my fluids capped off because it was an even better deal for a few dollars more. It was fine and all until I got home and noticed that my windshield fluid was practically empty. They didn't cap off my fluids. But I payed for all of it.He also tried to convince me to pay to get my tires aligned because there is some feathering on the tires and said they have a lifetime alignment package. Yeah right. My car is 2 years old and has 8000 mi on it.Don't get gypped like I did.
