I have been hospitalized twice at this hospital - once for pneumonia and another time for having a stroke. Both times, my care was beyond excellent! The doctors, nurses, neurologists, etc., all were very kind, helpful, and professional. Maybe my attitude was so positive that I expected nothing but the best care and that is what I received. This is definitely my personal choice of where I want to go and my family knows this to be a fact.

Methodist Hospital North staff killed my father. I arrived to visit him, found him in the floor, unattended, barely moving, unable to talk. He had been laying on the ground after the fall for at least 1/2 an hour. Guard rails had not been installed in his bed. He died there, three days later. Murdered.

Are there any professional nurses and doctors in this city? I hate Methodist Hospitals. They killed my mother. They over medicated her last year. I hate nurses and doctors. I know they are not the same, but sometimes it feels like they are alike.

If you are truly sick or in pa...

If you are truly deathly sick or in pain don't go, I repeat don't go to Methodist North Hospital Emergency Department. The louder you are at expressing your pain the slower your care will be. Unless all of your vital signs are way out of whack, you are sweating profusely, and have nausea with vomiting that they can see, you are going to sit and wait and wait and wait. You are miserable, and they are saying to each other "This is not a real emergency" or "they could wait to see their family doctor if they've been hurting all day, or since two days ago". And don't let your family ask them to "please help their loved one speaking just a little loud' you will be waiting till the next shift comes on duty before you are seen.

sorry hospital

Don't get me wrong they had a few good employees, but I went to the ER in PAIN why I leave the same way I came in they didn't attempt to stop the pain while I was there they sent me home with the weakest ish I have ever had if that was the case that's a 300.00 bill for nothing. Thanks and 2days later and still in pain

not family friendly

Just when you think that there are no worse hospitals than Baptist Tipton, along comes methodist north! They do not let kids back with their parent in the ER. To my knowlege they are the only hospital to do this, which would not be bad if they had a waiting room that was even remotely child friendly. Care was slow did not keep us informed. Complete waste of time.
