Provided by YP.comI had excellent care beginning with the registration and blood work, etc. the day before, right up to my departure. Every staff member I met was friendly & caring. Once home they called to check up on me and even sent a card with the signature of each staff member in the Outpatient Dept. I will need to return for an additional procedure but it’s great to know that I’ll be well cared for by this compassionate and caring staff.
We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your visit, Kenneth! We will be sure to share your praise with our team.

Provided by YPmobileNever coming back to this over priced nightmare ride.
90 minute wait just for triage, 2-3 hour wait to see a doctor? I think I might have a better chance checking out and seeing God in a more timely manner! Triage should happen within the first 10 minutes of a patients arrival not 1 hour and a half. How can you filter out the really sick and injured patients if you're seeing them hours later just to get a chief complaint. Please CEO help this hospital treat their patients not your pocket!
We are sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations. We will look into this situation with our team.

Provided by YPmobileIf I could rate it a zero I would!!! WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! This is my second time ever at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett and never coming back. We've been waiting for a room for over 13 hours!!!......I'm sleeping in a plastic rock chair. My husband the patient has no pillow. The blanket is a sheet and it's freezing. We have to tell the nurses to do their job...the basics like checking on us, and promised meds. Unacceptable!
My other time my 1year old son had a 104 fever and was having trouble breathing. Not only were we placed in the hallway we were charged for a room we never saw and other staff members kept telling us to move when it was other freaking staff members who put us there!!! I had to tackle a nurse to get my son fever meds. I was sweating bad and was miserable. You deal with a helpless 1 year old.....but they didn't care.
Won't fool me a 3rd time. Never ever ever ever will I be back.
Thank you for your feedback, Allison. We will look into the concerns you raise with our team.

Provided by YP.comWorst experience ever!!!
I am here for business, not an US resident... I didn't even know what ER is...! I just needed my eye to be checked because I had a small bump. I walked in to the front and asked where I can have my eye checked and people at the front just pointed at the direction that I should go...which was ER! I waited waited waited for 3 hours, finally doctor came in...and just touch my eye and said "you should go to eye doctor". That's it???!!! He literally touched my eye lid, didn't even know how to flip it!!!! and I got the bill that is close to $700!!!! This is not funny at all.
I heard ER charges crazy which I never knew about it. If I knew, I didn't go because it wasn't an Emergency! And with my poor English, people at the front should have told me. Not nice at all. Felt like people at this hospital don't care about patients.

Provided by YPmobileThe people who work here don't care and if your ask questions about what's going on instead of answers you get negative, defensive attitudes from the nurses here. No one wants to come here, a little caring would go a long way. We had to get another nurse because our first nurse got angry because I didn't understand what was happening with my husband. All she had to do was explain what was going on but instead she decided to be rude.

Provided by YPmobileIn the lobby with chest pain, numbness and tingling in left arm, heartburn for over 5 hours. Triage is terrible, apparently, as sprained ankles have come and gone since I got here. Guess it wasn't a heart attack.

Provided by YP.comThis was the worst care I have ever recieved! Total waste of time! I have new ins so did not have a dr that could see me immediately. Went to minor med before going to ER. Minor med said they would not be able to give me the care I would possibly need so they sent me to the ER. To air on the side of caution, also called my ins company and they said the same thing. I thought St Francis would be nice because you can make an appt instead of sitting in the waiting room all day. I presented with severe pelvic pain and abdominal and lower back pain. Due to the fact that I have an iud and could have had a pregnancy or any number of things I needed to be seen immediately. The nurses were very nice and attentive (the only reason i gave 2 stars). The NP I saw was horrendous! She was dismissive and downright rude! All she did was poke my pelvis and order a uranalysis for uti and pregnancy. Pregnancy showed negative which i told her it would. I had to basically insist on blood work being done. I told her I recently had a new med change and found interactions between the two meds after starting to have symptoms of being pregnant along with severe pain. She rolled her eyes at me! In the end, after being there for over 5hrs, she said she couldnt find a cause for the pain and i needed to see a dr. She never did a pelvic exam, never asked what medications I took, nothing! Absolutely nothing! Even my husband who was not there initially said she was dismissive and acted as if she just didnt want to deal with me. She gave me a scrip for pain pills and sent me on my way with the diagnosis of PELVIC PAIN!! In short, DO NOT GO TO THIS ER!

Provided by YPmobileI had the absolute worst experience in their ER last night. I lost my baby two weeks ago and am having complications with the miscarriage. I was all alone and trying to deal with this, as I had an insurance chance and no doctors would see me as a new patient. The ER doc mocked me, laughed at me, and after making me wait for three hours for a totally unrelated bloods test, he sent me on my way. He said countless rude and insensitive things, in between laughs, including that he thought it was not an emergency, I should not be there, he was sure I was fine, and he didn't want to treat me. I said a nurse told us I could come in for a D and C, and that if I got an infection I may not be able to have kids again....he just kept mocking me and sent me on my way. He finally agreed to have my nurse at my last clinic call him, but I was forced to sign discharge papers and asked to go back into the waiting room before I could even get her on the phone. This guy was a real piece of work. I'm having a major hardship, and could be experiencing significant health issues (he did not even ask me my symptoms or if I was in pain), and I was dealt with so coldly.

Provided by YP.comI had always thought that this hospital cared about people and was founded on christian ethics. I now know all they care about is the dollar. I am 67 years old and on social security after my wife got out of the hospital I tried to work with them to pay the bill we cut back to cooking 1 meal a day and kept the heat turned back to be able to pay the gas bill. St Francis hospital said they understood and would take my payments each month.I told them that as I got other smaller medical bills payed off I would I\increase their payment which I did. I just got a bill in the mail where they had turned it over to a collection agency. I guess we are supposed to stop eating and have our utilities turned off so we can send them the money. I would not go to that hospital again if I were dieing. YP.Com forced me to give them a star rating even though I feel they deserve 0stars or less

Provided by YP.comI HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE A GREAT HOSPITAL FOR ONCE IN MANY HOSPITAL VISITS. MY ENCOUNTER STARTED IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND ENDED IN ROOM 210. THE ENTIRE STAFF WAS GREAT,THE ATTITTUDE OF EVERYONE WAS PLEASING AND HELPFUL,SERVICE WAS FIVE STAR. I HOPE I NEVER REQUIRE HOSPITALIZATION AGAIN ,BUT IN CASE IT BECOMES UNAVOIDABLE MY CHOICE WILL BE ST. FRANCIS-BARTLETT.
