Dr. Stephen Barrett Sexton is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1993. Dr. Sexton received his D.D.S. in 1997 from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He then completed a one year fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Sexton went on to complete his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002 at the same institution, the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Dr. Sexton has practice locations in East Memphis and Munford, Tennessee, where he practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with special interest in implants, bone graft reconstruction, Cone Beam CT Technology, corrective jaw surgery, dentoalveolar surgery and maxillofacial infections and pathology. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Sexton has been married for 15 years to his wife, Suzanne, and they have 3 children.
