Great staff when you first walk in, quick to be taken back, quick prep for surgery. Where it all goes wrong is the day before the procedure being told you owe some un-godly amount of money out of pocket because the insurance is not going to pay it all. Come to find out I owe 1/3 of what was quoted for my procedure because my insurance did pick it up. I only paid a small payment down to get them to go ahead and do the work and now I owe even less. I have seen that over billing up front is a common issue with this facility. I have insurance you will get paid! My insurance company even told me to pay minimal if they demanded payment because the total amount would be lower than what the hospital was quoting. I say if you have a choice go to another hospital all together.

Not a long wait. Parking good. Courteous staff. If it were not for the required OVERPAYMENT for the out-patient surgery for my wife, I could give it 5 stars. They insisted that I pre-pay every penny they were owed before they even took her temperature. Even though the Dr had already demanded pre-payment and my deductible was now met and then some, they made me pay in full, receive money from my insurance in addition to the amount I had paid, and now I await a refund. I do not care in the least about their bill collection problems. Such a reactionary and rigid policy by and for people who are very wealthy is offensive to me. They can argue all day about how people don't pay their bills, but that, in no way, justifies OVERPAYMENT by me. They have now had the insurance money over a week per my EOB and do not even show that it has been entered in the computer. Their condescending comment was, "your insurance didn't even pay anything." I was asked to provide a date the insurance had paid and then that would be relayed to the person who receives checks so they could go through their stack and see if they have it. I expect to have my money back within 2 months after I OVERPAID this facility. What bullies! I had given them 3 stars, but now that I recount this school-yard bullying policy, enforcement of it, and condescending phone person, I have changed it to 1 star. Just because everyone else does it is not a good reason for someone to do something that is not ethical.
