No resident should feel like office staff are not taking their concerns/problems in their apartment seriously. The property manager is unfriendly and very cold towards the concerns that I brought to her attention. If anything, she seems more annoyed and bothered to have to deal with the issue. I've only been here for about 60 days and I've experienced excessive bugs, mice in my bathroom, loud noises from a broken generator outside of my bedroom, and terrible parking. These are the types of things that you want to know prior to signing a lease anywhere, especially if you are paying $1,000 for an out of date one bedroom apartment. If I would have known that these were the types of issues that I would have to deal with moving over here, I would have stayed in the Germantown area where I did not have to experience none of the above and saved my money. I regret signing my lease with Estates at River Pointe and I hope anyone considering this place do their research prior to making a decision to live here. This is one complex on Mud Island that makes the experience of living on a "beautiful island" not worth it.

They are running a racketeering scam with local towing companies to charge you $300 if you are caught taking your groceries in. and the car is lift unattended for 30 minutes. I had my lights on, windows down and the car running and they stole my car. They both pull in thousands of dollars a month.

They contract with PB&J towing (a towing coming with a D BBB rating and 31 complaints filed against them http://www.bbb.org/memphis/business-reviews/towing-automotive/p-b-and-j-towing-service-in-memphis-tn-44011484#sthash.L0zV4tOG.dpuf) harassing both guests and residents.



Parking is a nightmare! On a weekday night anytime after 9:00pm you cannot park in resident parking anywhere near your apartment. People will park in handicaps spots, fire lanes and even the median. There is no recourse! Then on weekends when half of the parking lot is empty, the tow truck contracted by the apartment slowly and creepily goes through the parking lot. This tow truck com according to Memphis Police engages in illegal activity and towing and even had to go out of business for a few years. It had a D from the BBB and 31 active complaints. What apartment complex who partner with a predatory, unethical and harassing company? The Estates at River Pointe of course. Imagine never having company, never having family or friends over ever because they are constantly in fear of being towed. Imagine your worrying your car will be illegally towed or never being able to have a rental car. Imagine living under this harassment before you think about signing a lease here.

TROJAN HORSE OF THE ISLAND!!! Hope you like roaches, rats, and rudeness. There have been numerous breakins that the management claims to know nothing about. I've had my apartment broken into and they refused to work with the police to help out. The place looks nice.... but looks can be deceiving, can't they?



I'd also like to add that it is interesting to me that the same problems this place had years ago on old reviews I've seen STILL EXIST. People were complaining about rats, roaches, and rudeness in '09 and those complaints still ring true today.
