There is no other place in Memphis I'd rather buy a cigar or pipe than Tobacco Corner. Their cigar selection is impressive and they appear to have the best prices in town. Ken is very knowledgable and patient for the new pipe or cigar smoker.

Wonderful brick and mortar shop with a very relaxed atmosphere. No pressure to purchase, no sales pitch, and a pleasure to browse even if only for the sake of looking or discovery. The staff is entirely knowledgeable and friendly. I am a long-time pipe smoker and know all too well the snobbery often present in cigar/pipe circles. But not here. As previous reviewers mentioned, there is not a costco-esque selection of tinned tobacco, and they do focus on house blends. But to me, this is the charm and draw of a local tobacconist. To give discount pricing on tins would require massive purchases from suppliers, and with highly individualized preferences and low pipe tobacco demand in general, it simply does not make sense for a local tobacconist to go this route. So if you absolutely have to have those mass-manufactured Altadis or Synjeco super-conglomerate tinned tobaccos, and you need them at rock bottom prices, do everyone a favor and go order them online. Leaving negative reviews only shows your mis-informed, immature knowledge base. But I digress. This shop is a southern treasure with a nice old-world atmosphere. If you're paying a little more you're also getting a lot more personality. Oh, and if you're a pipe smoker and VAs are your thing, I highly recommend you try Oxford flake. Having smoked hundreds of VAs this has quickly become a top 5. Cheers!

I went into his store a while back. When I went in,I said I was a newbie. He was very professional telling about the cigars I bought. Where they come from. And, what were the best for me to smoke. Now when I go in,they treat me like an old friend coming by to say hi. I will always be a customer to this store. And, I recommend you do the same. Cheers, everybody!

A small humidor is packed with an excellent selection of premium cigars at reasonable prices. Also known locally as the meeting place of the "East Memphis City Council" a group of eclectic puffers who routinely solve Memphis' political and social problems...........
