Located in Mendon, N.Y., Camp Good Days and Special Times is a volunteer-based organization, serving children, adults and families suffering from cancer and other life challenges. It has assisted more than 42,000 campers from 22 states and 25 foreign countries. The organization s recreational facility offers year-round, recreational and support activities. It provides programs for men, women and children with cancer, siblings of children with cancer or who have lost their battle to cancer. The organization also offers programs for children with sickle cell anemia, along with children who have lost an immediate family member to homicide. It is accredited by the American Camp Association.
